Ask and Expand

“Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.” – Psalm 2:8 (NIV)

What if I told you that the only thing standing between you and a greater impact is your willingness to ask? In today’s world, where global influence is no longer limited by geography, it’s easier than ever to expand beyond your small corner. Whether it’s a product, a ministry, or a message, the potential to reach the nations is within your grasp. God’s promise in Psalm 2:8 is clear—He is ready to give you the nations as your inheritance, but you have to ask.

Think about the businesses that have grown from small shops to global brands or ministries that started in living rooms and now broadcast across continents. It didn’t happen by chance. These individuals or organizations believed in expansion, took bold steps, and asked for help along the way. Social media, technology, and the internet have made it even easier to step into this reality. So why are we, as believers, sometimes hesitant to think beyond our immediate surroundings?

God has given us a clear mandate: be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and have dominion (Genesis 1:28). That kind of dominion doesn’t come from staying local or small-minded. It comes from thinking big, praying boldly, and asking God for the nations. If He gave you a vision, He has already equipped you with the potential to expand that vision. Don’t let fear or a lack of resources limit what God has called you to do. Remember, it’s His promise, and He will fulfill it when you trust Him.

The world is waiting for what God has placed in you. Whether it’s a product, a message, or a ministry, ask Him for the nations and take the steps of faith required to expand. When you commit to His plan, He will open doors you never imagined and give you influence far beyond your reach.

PRAYER

Lord, thank you for the reminder that your plans for me are far bigger than I often imagine. I ask for the nations as my inheritance and the ends of the earth as my possession, just as you have promised. Help me to step out of my comfort zone and trust in your ability to make my vision a reality. Give me boldness, wisdom, and the resources I need to expand and make an impact for your glory. I trust you to lead me every step of the way.
