 “Where there is no vision, the people perish…” – Proverbs 29:18

Principle 2: Clearly Mark Out your Objectives and Destinations
When Jesus said, “Let us pass over unto the other side” (Mark 4:35), he was setting a clear objective and destination for His journey. The question for you is: Where are you going? In life, you must have a destination in mind—whether it’s financial, professional, in marriage, or in ministry. Without a defined goal, you risk wandering aimlessly. You can’t achieve what you haven’t clearly set out to achieve.

By the end of this year, where do you want to be? What do you want to have accomplished? Don’t simply go through the motions and hope things will change. Set clearly defined objectives, such as buying a property, completing a level of education, or laying the foundation for a project. Your faith and energy should be focused on achieving these tangible milestones. Without measurable objectives, it becomes difficult to track progress or know if your faith has brought results.

Principle 3: Identify your Destiny Team
Jesus also showed us the importance of not going alone. He said, “Let us” pass over. He didn’t attempt to go into the future alone; he brought others along. you, too, need to identify your destiny team. If you want to go fast, you can go alone, but if you want to go far, you must go together. God never intended for you to walk through life isolated.

“It is not good for man to be alone…” (Genesis 2:18). This doesn’t only apply to marriage but to all aspects of life. You need a destiny team to pray together, plan together, share ideas, and challenge one another. Surround yourself with people who encourage you toward positive growth, not those who indulge in gossip, time-wasting, or negative habits. Your destiny team should help you reach the goals you’ve set for your life.

Prayer:
Father, thank you for the wisdom to set clear objectives for my life. help me to identify and pursue my goals with determination, guided by faith and your direction. I pray that you lead me to the right people—my destiny team—who will support, encourage, and challenge me to become all that you have called me to be. May we walk together in purpose and unity, achieving great things for your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
