Living a Faith Lifestyle

“The just shall live by faith.” – Romans 1:17

Developing a faith lifestyle goes beyond just believing for results or change. Faith is not just a force; it is an attitude that shapes how you live each day. It’s a way of life in God’s kingdom. As Romans 1:17 and Hebrews 10:38 remind us, “The just shall live by faith.” Faith is what sustains us and guides our actions, decisions, and outlook on life.

A faith-filled life is not dependent on outward circumstances. Whether it’s preaching, praying for people, or laying hands on the sick, I do it by faith, trusting that God will honor His Word. Even in my personal life, I live by faith—I raise my children by faith, speaking life over them and refusing to speak negatively, knowing that God will work in their lives. If you’re facing a health challenge or any other condition, remember that faith in God has the power to bring about divine results.

Life’s difficulties are not meant to discourage you; they are opportunities for growth. Just as one cannot climb a tree from the top, you must go through the process of building your faith and strength through life’s challenges. The harder the road, the greater the potential for growth and the brighter your future. Don’t be disheartened by the difficulty; let it strengthen your faith.

In ministry, I lead by faith, trusting God to back me up in every step. I make commitments by faith, knowing that God will provide and fulfill His promises. I evangelize by faith, expecting souls to be saved, and prophesy by faith, knowing that God will honour His Word. Even in the simple act of resting, I sleep by faith, expecting that I will wake up the next day. This is the lifestyle of faith—a constant expectation of God’s goodness in every area of life.

Prayer:
Lord, thank you for the gift of faith. help me to live by faith in every area of my life. Teach me to trust you fully, whether in the mundane or in times of great challenge. I commit to walking by faith, expecting you to honour your Word in all that I do. Strengthen my faith and my attitude, so that I may reflect your kingdom in everything I say and do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
