When Miracles Meet Obstacles

“As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord.” – Exodus 14:10 (NIV)

Imagine the scene: the Israelites had just tasted freedom for the first time in 400 years. The tears, prayers, and hopes of generations had been answered, and they were finally out of Egypt. The beautiful wedding is followed by the realities of a challenging marriage. The dream ministry feels more like a battlefield than a sanctuary. In these moments, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, questioning why God would allow trouble so soon after delivering a miracle.

But let’s take a cue from the Israelites. When they were terrified, they cried out to the Lord. Their fear didn’t disqualify them from God’s help; it positioned them to experience His power. The Red Sea wasn’t a barrier to God—it was an opportunity for Him to display His glory. Your obstacles are no different. They are not the end; they are the stage for your next breakthrough.

So, what do you do when miracles meet obstacles? You cry out to God, just as the Israelites did. Trust that the same God who delivered you will also make a way where there seems to be none. The walls you see now are not permanent—they are an invitation to deeper faith. Remember, with God, even a dead end can turn into a divine beginning.

PRAYER

Lord, I thank you for the miracles you have already done in my life. When I face obstacles, help me to remember that you are the same God who made a way for the Israelites. Give me the faith to cry out to you and the patience to trust your timing. I believe that even when I see a dead end, you are working on my behalf. Strengthen my heart to walk in faith, knowing you will always make a way.
