You are Qualified

Key Verse:
“But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”– Exodus 3:11 (NKJV)

Have you ever felt unqualified for something God asked you to do? That’s imposter syndrome at work. It is the fear that you are not enough, not capable, or not worthy of the task before you. Moses understood this feeling well. Once a prince of Egypt, then a fugitive, and now a shepherd, he could not see how God could use someone like him. When God called him to lead Israel out of Egypt, he responded with excuses. “Who am I?” “What if they don’t believe me?” “I am not good with words.” Moses saw his flaws, but God saw his purpose.

We often disqualify ourselves because we measure our ability by our résumé instead of by God’s power. The truth is, every divine assignment will feel too big because it is meant to. God never calls you to something you can handle on your own. He calls you to what only His Spirit can accomplish through you. If you could do it by yourself, it would not require faith. So instead of focusing on your weakness, fix your eyes on the One who strengthens you.

What you see as a disqualification may be the very reason God chose you. Moses’ journey, from slave-born to royalty, from exile to deliverer, was not wasted. Every part of his story was preparation. The same is true for you. God has been equipping you in ways you might not even realize. Every struggle, every delay, every lesson is forming the foundation of your calling.

Beloved, you are not an imposter. You are God’s chosen vessel, prepared and empowered for His purpose. Look back and see how He has been shaping you for this moment. You are not unqualified; you are divinely equipped.

Prayer:
Father, thank you for reminding me that you have called and qualified me. Help me to see myself through your eyes and not through fear or inadequacy. Teach me to rely on your strength and to walk boldly in faith. I trust that everything I have been through has prepared me for your purpose. In Jesus’ name, amen.
