If you are going to prevail as a Christian in the journey and situations of life, it is critical to understand the subject of today: What is your personal revelation of Jesus? Your victory in life is directly linked to your personal revelation of who Jesus is to you. This is not about what someone else says or knows about Him, but what you know personally. Do you have a personal revelation of Jesus? you must be clear on this, as it will determine how you face life’s challenges.
When you move from expectation to manifestation, you must understand and apply the right principles in that zone. The kingdom of God is a voice-activated kingdom. When God offers you something in the spirit, you take it with your words. Just as people physically receive gifts with their hands, in the spirit, you receive with your mouth. A silent Christian will not receive anything from God, unless by His mercy. It is crucial to speak in alignment with God’s Word to receive the promises he has for you.
Whenever you are at the point of receiving something from the Lord, you must rely on the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to guide you. The Holy Spirit is your helper, always available to assist you in your journey through life. He is there to help you navigate every situation and to lead you toward the right decisions, especially when it comes to receiving God’s promises and blessings.
When you enter the zone of receiving, you will need wisdom. Many people follow all the faith steps, but when they reach the point of receiving, they make foolish decisions that cancel out their progress. This is a crucial moment where patience and wisdom are essential. As James 1:4 says, “But let patience have her perfect work.” The word “patience” here refers to consistency—the ability to endure through the process, allowing God to work out all the details while you wait for the manifestation of your promise.
Today, we will discuss a crucial aspect of faith that is vital to our daily lives—the test of faith. It is important to understand that the test of faith is personal. No two individuals face the same test. Even if you share the same birth date with someone, your journey of faith is unique to you. Each person must walk their own path, facing their individual challenges and tests.
People often label us as the “name it and claim it” people, but the truth is, God names His promises for you, and it is your responsibility to claim them. So, what does it mean to receive the manifestation of God’s promises? The promise is the spiritual version of what God has in store for you, but you need to see it materialize in your life. As John 1:14 reminds us, “…and the Word was made flesh.” God’s Word is powerful and convertible—it can take form in your life if you know how to receive it.
The Kingdom of God is a “voice-activated” kingdom! Once you’ve personalized the promises of God, it’s time to declare them. The word of God is spoken to you so that you can speak it out with your own mouth. When God gives you a promise, he expects you to put it in your mouth and confess it over your life. This is why God changed Abram’s name to Abraham—“exalted father” to “father of many nations”—so that every time Abraham spoke his name, he would be confessing God’s promise.
There is a powerful connection between being persuaded by God’s promise and personalizing it. If you are not fully convinced and persuaded by God’s Word, it will be difficult to make that promise feel personal to you. Think of a woman who, after getting married, still responds to her maiden name when called in public. Initially, it takes a few reminders for her to respond to her new surname, but over time, she naturally responds to her married name without thinking. This process of adjusting and internalizing is similar to personalizing God’s promises in your life.
In your faith journey, it is crucial to settle one thing in your heart: God is fully capable and willing to fulfill His promises. Think about this: How can the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth, give you a promise and not have the ability to bring it to pass? Don’t let human limitations or past disappointments with people’s broken promises affect how you relate to God. God is not like man, and he is always faithful to His Word.
Just as spectacles are required to correct an eye defect and help someone see clearly, God’s promises and prophecies are like spectacles that allow you to see clearly the future he has for your life. A person with a promise or prophecy from God is never to be pitied—on the contrary, they have a divine vision for what lies ahead. When you have received a promise from God, it’s essential that you view life through the lens of that promise. you must believe that you are headed toward an appointment with something that will never fail, as Matthew 5:18 assures us about the certainty of God’s Word.
