Pilate was torn between protecting his political career by being a friend of Ceaser or embracing eternal life by becoming a friend of Jesus but he can’t be both so he chose to reign with Ceaser in this world and lost a chance to reign with Jesus eternally.
Many times we feel like some things are impossible to be accomplished in our lives, and they may have been left alone just like the wall. But like Nehemiah, we need to be able to trust God to accomplish them.
