Pilate was torn between protecting his political career by being a friend of Ceaser or embracing eternal life by becoming a friend of Jesus but he can’t be both so he chose to reign with Ceaser in this world and lost a chance to reign with Jesus eternally.
Many times we feel like some things are impossible to be accomplished in our lives, and they may have been left alone just like the wall. But like Nehemiah, we need to be able to trust God to accomplish them.
When David was confronted with his sin, he didn’t beg God to retain his generational covenant of making him the royal family. He wasn’t even worried about God delivering him into the hands of the enemy. He was more worried about losing God’s presence, everything else matters less.

God needs to open your eyes to see the challenges from his lenses and realize that a God is standing beside you that is far bigger than whatever you’re going through, all you need is to ask him for help-he is our constant help in time of trouble!

The three Maggi traveled from Babylon to Jerusalem. the distance between Babylon and Jerusalem is about 2,700km. To put this in perspective, Lagos to Abuja is about 774.6km. If you do the maths, that’s like three times the distance from Lagos to Abuja not by Flight or bus but by road walk. This was how far they were willing to go just to worship Jesus.
Why do we think that the best time to make resolution is December? The new year begins whenever you’re ready today, tomorrow or next month. Don’t rush into making commitments if you’ve not thought it through, don’t set up yourself for failure with unrealistic resolutions that will end up leaving you guilty about how you’ve wasted the year.
I’m continually saddened as I watch the church falling victim to not paying attention. While some are deliberately embracing the silent introduction of these songs into the church with the goal of fueling the carnality of their members whose fragile mind cannot be sustained by the truth; others are simply victims of end-time seduction and because they are neither street-smart to know what’s going on or spirit-smart to discern, they become victims of the flow.
If only we will dare to trust God, and pray hard in faith with great trust in the infinite power of our God, His infinite love and his infinite wisdom. He will move the mountain on our behalf and make the impossible possible.
