Even after a long day of ministry, He rose early, found a quiet place, and spent time with the Father. If Jesus needed time alone with God, how much more do we?
Jesus’ example teaches us that prayer isn’t optional; it’s essential. He knew that connecting with the Father was the source of His strength, guidance, and peace. In the solitude of prayer, He aligned His heart with God’s will and received direction for His next steps. When we intentionally step away from distractions and make time to be alone with Him, our relationship deepens. We experience His presence in a fresh way and hear His voice more clearly. Jesus shows us that prayer is not a ritual; it’s a lifeline. It connects us to the One who loves us, guides us, and sustains us.
Are you making time for God in the quiet moments? You don’t need a perfect schedule or a flawless routine—just a willing heart. Follow Jesus’ example by finding your “solitary place” each day. Whether it’s early in the morning, during a lunch break, or in the evening, prioritize time with God. In His presence, you’ll find the peace, guidance, and strength you need to face each day.

Father, thank you for showing me the importance of prayer through the example of Jesus. Help me to prioritize time with you, even when life feels busy.
