But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say.

Do you believe in miracles? Even if you don’t currently believe in miracles, our discussion about the healing of the man at the Beautiful Gate over the last couple of days should have at least convinced you.
The teachers of the law in Jerusalem in the days of the early Apostles faced undeniable evidence of the power of Jesus Christ. Despite their efforts to discredit and invalidate the message of the disciples, they were confronted with the undeniable reality of a man who had been healed standing before them.
The healed man’s presence serves as a tangible reminder of the miraculous works that had been performed in the name of Jesus. His transformation stands as irrefutable evidence of the power and authority of Jesus Christ. Faced with such overwhelming proof, the religious leaders are left speechless, unable to refute the undeniable reality before them.
As believers, we serve a God who is still in the business of performing miracles today. Just as the disciples called upon the name of Jesus and witnessed miraculous healings and transformations, we too have the privilege of seeking God for supernatural interventions in our lives and circumstances.
However, exercising faith for miracles requires boldness and unwavering trust in the power of Jesus’ name. We must believe wholeheartedly that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Like the disciples, we must approach God with confidence, knowing that He delights in answering the prayers of His children and demonstrating His power in our midst.
When we witness miracles in our lives, whether it be physical healing, emotional restoration, or divine provision, it serves as a powerful testimony to the reality of Jesus Christ. Our transformed lives become a living testament to the saving and redeeming power of His name, drawing others into a deeper relationship with Him.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank you for the evidence of your miraculous power that we see displayed throughout Scripture and in the lives of believers today. Grant me the faith to believe in the power of Jesus’ name to work miracles in my life and circumstances. Help me to approach you with boldness and confidence, trusting in your ability to intervene supernaturally on my behalf.
