Step 1: Secure a Promise from God

 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” – Romans 10:17

For the next few days, we will explore six essential steps to building a strong and productive faith life. Whether you receive a word from God directly or come across a promise in the Bible, these steps will always work when applied correctly. The outcome will always align with God’s will if you walk through the steps with faith and diligence.

Step 1: you Must Have the Promise of God on the Situation or Circumstance

Faith is not based on wishful thinking or personal desires; it is built on God’s promises. you cannot be in faith if you don’t have a specific promise or prophecy from God. These promises must either come directly from the Bible or from the Holy Spirit. Without a firm foundation in God’s Word, faith cannot be productive.

To develop a solid faith life, you must first understand the importance of both the Bible and the Holy Spirit in your spiritual journey. It is essential to have a deep understanding of God’s Word, as this provides the foundation for your faith. Once you have this foundation, you can rely on the Holy Spirit to guide and affirm God’s promises to you in various ways.

A safe approach to spiritual matters is to first seek God through His Word before relying on prayer or other methods. The Bible is the primary source of truth, and it will never lead you astray. However, if you have developed a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit and have learned to discern His voice, you can trust the promises he speaks to your heart, knowing they align with the Word of God.

So, when you stand in faith, always ask yourself, “Do I have a promise or prophecy?” This question is vital for ensuring that your faith is grounded in God’s truth.
