“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” – 1 Corinthians 14:33
Today, God wants you to understand a major key to success in the kingdom: structure. Many people fail or fall short in life simply because they lack structure. It is vital to understand that you cannot be responsible beyond the structure you’ve built around your life.
Consider the human body: the bones are the structure that holds the body together. If you remove the bones, the body would collapse into a formless heap. Similarly, a life without structure is like a body with no bones—it lacks support and will eventually fail. A life without structure is destined to flop, so don’t let that be your reality.
Instruction is the “inside structure” that you carry out externally. It’s about having a plan and the discipline to follow through on it. Without structure, your life will not function properly. Some people say you don’t need structure, but the truth is, grace without structure is like greasy grace—it’s unproductive and unstable. Even God has a structure that holds the universe in place; everything works in harmony because of the structure he has put in place.
A lack of structure can show up in simple areas of life, such as not having a savings account. If you spend everything you earn without any plan to save, you are living without structure. Having structure in your life is essential. It gives you the foundation you need to build a responsible, prosperous future. Don’t let your life fall apart because of a lack of structure—be intentional about creating it, and it will set you on a path to success.
Prayer:
Father, thank you for the wisdom to build structure in my life. help me to establish solid systems in every area, so that I can be responsible and faithful in all that you’ve entrusted to me. Teach me to manage my time, resources, and responsibilities with intentionality. I trust that as I create structure, I will see growth and prosperity in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
