The Vehicle for the Incredible

“Then Jesus said to Simon, ‘Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.’” – Luke 5:4

To reach your destination, you must recognize when the vehicle for your journey shows up. God’s vehicle for your future could be a ministry, a business, a friendship, a church, an assignment, an instruction, or a program. This vehicle can be secular or spiritual, but it will always be the means through which God takes you to your destiny.

For example, before you ever went out for evangelism, you might not have known that God could open the eyes of the blind. But as you step out in faith and fulfill your assignment, you are confronted with the real, practical power of God. This is what ministry looks like—seeing results as you walk in obedience.

God can also set you up in an anointed partnership, just as he did with Jesus and Peter in Luke 5. Jesus needed a place to teach the gospel to the crowds, and Peter generously offered his boat. This partnership, where Peter sacrificed his boat for Jesus, opened the door to something incredible. Peter, a fisherman, experienced a miraculous catch of fish beyond anything he had ever seen in his career. More importantly, that moment marked the beginning of Peter’s calling to become a fisher of men with Jesus, not just a fisherman. Jesus asking for the use of his boat became Peter’s vehicle to the incredible.

You must be sensitive to the vehicle God has prepared for you. This vehicle will guide you to your glory land and determine your speed and outcome in life. Once you recognize and access the vehicle, your experience will change, and you will move forward into your destiny.

Prayer:
Father, thank you for the vehicles you have prepared for me on my journey to fulfillment. help me to recognize the opportunities, partnerships, and assignments that you place in my life to take me to my destiny. Teach me to be sensitive to your leading and to step out in faith when you provide the means for my breakthrough. I trust that you will guide me into the incredible as I follow your direction. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
